Job Role: Embedded Software Engineer

Experience: 3+ Years

Location: Bangalore, Pune, Belagavi

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and validate virtual hardware models using C++.
• Analyze system requirements and translate them into efficient software designs.
• Implement, debug, and optimize embedded software components.
• Develop and maintain Linux device drivers.
• Work closely with architecture and validation teams to ensure model accuracy.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and debugging activities.
• Contribute to virtual platform and simulation-based development environments.

Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in C and C++ programming.
• Excellent problem-solving and software design skills.
• Experience in Linux Device Driver development and debugging.
• Strong understanding of embedded systems and low-level programming.
• Hands-on experience with peripheral interfaces and controllers such as.
• Experience developing low-level drivers for embedded peripherals.
• Good understanding of ARM or RISC-V processor architectures.

Preferred Technical Skills

• Exposure to SystemC and TLM (Transaction Level Modeling).
• Experience with complex hardware interfaces such as:
• Ethernet Controllers
• PCIe Controllers
• Familiarity with hardware simulation platforms such as:
• QEMU
• Synopsys Virtualizer
• BSP (Board Support Package) bring-up experience.
• Knowledge of Bootloader and U-Boot development/customization.
