Collection Executive – Gold Loan

Job Overview: We are hiring a motivated and target-oriented Collection Executive for a leading Gold Loan / NBFC company. The candidate will be responsible for managing collections from gold loan customers, ensuring timely repayment, reducing overdue accounts, and maintaining strong customer relationships. The role involves regular field visits and coordination with customers for payment follow-ups and loan recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage collection and recovery of Gold Loan EMI / overdue payments from customers.
• Make regular calls and field visits to customers for payment follow-up and collection.
• Handle assigned collection cases and ensure timely resolution of overdue accounts.
• Maintain regular contact with customers and communicate payment dues, outstanding amounts, and repayment schedules.
• Achieve monthly collection and recovery targets as assigned by management.
• Follow up on delinquent and overdue accounts and take appropriate action as per company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, collections, commitments, and payment status.
• Coordinate with branch teams and reporting managers regarding collection performance and difficult cases.
• Identify reasons for payment delays and negotiate suitable repayment commitments with customers within company guidelines.
• Ensure proper documentation and timely updating of collection activities in the system.
• Maintain professional customer relationships while following ethical collection practices and company policies.
• Prepare daily collection reports and provide regular updates on target achievement and pending cases.
• Travel within the assigned territory for field collection activities.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Qualification: Graduate in any discipline.
• Experience: 1–3 years in Gold Loan, NBFC, Banking, Microfinance, Collection, Recovery, or Field Sales.
• Experience in Gold Loan collections will be preferred.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong customer-handling and convincing abilities.
• Comfortable with field visits and travelling within the assigned territory.
• Target-oriented and self-motivated approach.
• Basic knowledge of smartphones, MS Office, and collection applications.
