• Assist in schematic capture and multi-layer PCB layout design for embedded electronic systems using tools such as Altium Design and KiCad.
• Select and manage electronic components, maintaining accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and component libraries.
• Support prototype assembly, soldering, rework, and hardware debugging activities to facilitate successful board bring-up and validation.
• Utilize laboratory equipment including oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, and bench power supplies for testing and troubleshooting.
• Write and modify embedded firmware in C/C++ or Arduino to support hardware testing, validation, and functional verification.
• Execute comprehensive functional tests on electronic products, documenting test procedures and outcomes meticulously.
• Maintain and update design files, technical documentation, and version control repositories to ensure traceability and compliance.
• Collaborate closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to drive product development, quality assurance, and continuous improvement processes.
• 3-7 years of professional experience in embedded firmware development and electronics product development.
• Strong proficiency in embedded C/C++ programming and familiarity with microcontrollers such as STM32, ESP32, Arduino, AVR/PIC.
• Hands-on experience in schematic capture and PCB layout design using Altium, KiCad, Eagle, or similar tools, including design of multi-layer (up to 8-layer) PCBs.
• Solid understanding of analog and digital electronics fundamentals, including EMI/EMC considerations.
• Proficient in hardware debugging techniques and board bring-up processes, with practical soldering and prototype testing skills.
• Experience working with communication protocols such as UART, SPI, and I2C.
• Competence in using lab instruments like oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, and bench power supplies.
• Basic scripting ability in Python for automation or testing purposes.
• Strong documentation skills and the ability to maintain version-controlled design files and test records.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate across engineering functions.
• Familiarity with advanced PCB design considerations including EMI/EMC mitigation techniques.
