Digital Solutions Developer – Workflow Automation

Location: Norfolk, VA

Security Clearance: Active NATO Secret Clearance Required

Key Responsibilities

• Develop digital applications, workflow automations, prototypes, and minimum viable solutions.
• Analyse business processes and identify opportunities for digitization and automation.
• Gather requirements and translate operational needs into functional digital solutions.
• Configure forms, business rules, user roles, approvals, notifications, and workflow logic.
• Integrate applications with databases, APIs, web services, and enterprise data sources.
• Develop scripts and custom components when required.
• Conduct user testing, gather feedback, troubleshoot issues, and improve solutions.
• Maintain technical documentation, version control, testing records, and configuration details.
• Prepare prototypes for transition to enterprise development or support teams.
• Collaborate with business users, developers, and technical stakeholders.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field, or qualifying relevant professional experience.
• Hands-on experience developing and deploying digital applications using non-Microsoft low-code/no-code platforms.
• Experience with rapid prototyping, workflow automation, and business process redesign.
• Knowledge of APIs, SQL/databases, webhooks, web services, or programming languages such as Python and JavaScript.
• Experience integrating applications with existing enterprise data sources.
• Practical experience in user testing, iterative development, defect tracking, and solution documentation.
• Ability to assess technical constraints and prepare solutions for further development or implementation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
