Audio DSP Engineer

Job Role: Audio DSP Engineer Experience: 4–8 Years Location: Bangalore

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop Audio DSP software and embedded firmware for SoC-based platforms.
• Develop and optimize low-level software using C programming.
• Work on DSP code optimization, performance tuning, and data-parallel processing.
• Develop and maintain Audio HAL components.
• Work with ALSA Audio frameworks and audio subsystem development.
• Analyze and debug audio issues including glitches, latency, timestamp problems, packet loss, mixing, filtering, audio enhancement, and noise reduction.
• Understand audio architecture and translate technical specifications into production-ready software.
• Support pre-silicon and post-silicon validation, subsystem enablement, and performance characterization.
• Debug complex embedded and DSP issues across software and hardware environments.
• Collaborate with firmware, hardware, validation, and system engineering teams.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with C programming.
• Experience in low-level firmware development.
• Hands-on experience with Audio DSP development.
• Experience with DSP code optimization and performance tuning.
• Strong understanding of Audio HAL development.
• Experience with ALSA Audio development.
• Understanding of data parallelism and lightweight DSP implementation.
